SUB POST OFFICE &
GENERAL STORE Selling all kinds of groceries, greeting cards, newspapers and
wines and spirits.
An ATM (Cash point Machine) is available during Post Office hours which
takes most credit and bank cards.
PATHFINDER VILLAGE CHURCH
Purpose built for the village in the Pathfinder workshops,
the church has been consecrated for use by all
Christian denominations. There are regular Church of England services and a
monthly United Interdenominational service. Full details of services
are published on the village notice boards and on the 'Devon Lady' notice board.

THE SURGERY
A satellite of St. Thomas Health Centre in
Cowick Street, Exeter, from which doctors and nurses attend on Mondays and
Thursdays. A prescription service operates for the convenience of
residents. There are also the services
of Community Nurses who attends the surgery twice each week for dressings and minor ailments.
PATHFINDER CLUB
The "Village Pub". Various activities take place here and in the village hall.
There is a thriving Art Group,
a Whist Club,
Keep fit sessions and Dancing.
"REGULAR NIGHTS" are held here for dances, Quiz nights and Bingo.
The club has a Skittles Team and is in the Crediton League.
The highlight of the year is the Christmas dinner usually held a few
days ahead of the holiday. |
VILLAGE HAIRDRESSING
The village has its own "Unisex" hairdresser.
Kathy is open 4 days a week.
She also
operates a Mobile service for people who find it difficult to visit
her salon. |
